Invisible Mobs

I've encountered this problem a few times.

1) in upper abyss on krotan rock/miren island. (seems to be the klaw mobs or around them)
2) in eltnen in the elite tursin area.

I called a GM in krotan rock and he/she (Ely I believe?) came and killed the mobs that were attacking me. I was told when this occurs to just fly straight up to get 'em out of the terrain, but - when I did that they followed me and still hit me but I couldn't see them.

In Eltnen, it was just... way weird LOL. I was runnin' through with a legion mate helping them do quests... and then I was resting up and I kept gettin' broken out of rest - no GM's were on at the time... but my friend couldn't loot so he logged off and logged back in to see if that would help/fix it... and he saw 4 mobs attacking me where as I saw none.

When these problems occur;
I can't see the mob
I can't tab target the mob
AoEs don't do anything
They follow relentlessly til you die or you run halfway around the world

My friend ended up gettin' killed by the invisible mobs while fighting an elite boss :s

Thank you for the submission. If you can give me a list of the mobs, how to reproduce, etc. It will help speed up the process. I will look into this also.

This glitch isn't mob specific. I've noticed that it's more location specific in a way. As in somewhere there's a clutter of mobs that you wipe out. Like where the bugs are on miren. There's like 20-30 of them, and if you go through and just bash them all down... by the time you're done some will have respawned, and some of the respawns disappear off my screen but they're still there and I hit them with /some/ type of AoE or aggro them somehow. Then they attack me lol. So the problem is in the respawn. If they're in my general location, 1/4th of the time they disappear. Don't know if that helps, but that's what I've deduced it down to since a respawn disappeared while I was resting up in core, then chased me after I killed the spawn beside it lol.

I will have to test this throughly to make sure its not a client side problem. The mobs are set specifically to re-spawn on there designated spawn point. Not only that but if you attack one and fly or run away. Eventually they will run back to there respective spawns. I will have to double check the spawning of mobs.

From all I saw there the mob spawns are all okay... It's just due some kind of backrape move they will attack a person sometimes from the area due the missing geodata... The point is you can't see them but AOE will hit them if I'm correct...

However as for duplication I dunno but indeed flying up will get you out of range eventually... Mob spawns might be a bit fast there but it shouldn't cause to many issue... I did see the mobs and killed them but they seem not to see all the mobs there to begin with... It looks clientbound but I've seen that just for them... So far I saw all mobs that attacked me except that one you hopefully removed in the fortress

Ok in that case please repair and update your clients. And for Iriya send me a pm on the mob that you want me to remove. I need to double check if I did or didn't.

Has been looked at and fixed. Please test again and see if it still occurs.

Thank you zero. Can you tell me where it occurs? How to reproduce? I can't fix something I don't know whats wrong with it.

Check this maybe it'll explain something you overlooked... Since nobody posted it this is a full tested report of those things to occure... Might be that what is the entire reason
